Posted on January 7, 2025 By admin

Rugby fans mourn the passing of Rob Burrow, a Leeds Rhinos and England legend, who died on June 2 at 41 after battling motor neurone disease (MND).

A memorial was held at Leeds Civic Hall to honor his legacy in sports and his fight against MND. The ceremony, attended by 180 people, included family, friends, and notable figures such as former teammate Jamie Jones-Buchanan and MND Association CEO Tanya Curry. The event, organized by the Lord Mayor of Leeds, celebrated Burrow’s courage and contributions to the community.
