Bill Gates Testimony Draws Attention to Past Affairs and Epstein Contacts

Posted on June 24, 2026 By admin

Recent testimony by Bill Gates before the U.S. House Oversight Committee has generated widespread attention after newly released transcripts revealed discussions about his past personal relationships and his interactions with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. During the June 10 interview, Gates acknowledged having had affairs with three women—bridge player Mila Antonova, nuclear scientist Karima Nigmatulina, and medical entrepreneur Alice Jacobs Nesselrodt. According to the transcript, Gates stated that these relationships were unrelated to his interactions with Epstein.

A significant focus of the testimony involved whether Epstein attempted to gain leverage over Gates by obtaining information about those affairs. Gates told lawmakers that he believed Epstein may have contemplated blackmail, pointing to emails and communications that appeared to show interest in his personal life. However, Gates emphasized that he was never actually blackmailed and maintained that Epstein’s efforts never succeeded. He described the communications as suggesting possible attempts to exert pressure rather than evidence of a completed extortion scheme.

Gates also rejected several allegations that surfaced in Epstein-related documents. He denied claims that he contacted Epstein regarding a sexually transmitted disease and stated that he never knowingly participated in or witnessed any misconduct connected to Epstein’s criminal activities. During questioning, Gates acknowledged that it was possible he had been in the presence of individuals later identified as Epstein victims, but he maintained that he had no knowledge of the abuse taking place at the time. He reiterated that continuing to meet with Epstein after his criminal conviction was a mistake and expressed regret for those associations.

The testimony forms part of a broader congressional investigation into Epstein’s network and relationships with prominent individuals. While the revelations have renewed scrutiny of Gates’ past contacts with Epstein, no criminal allegations against Gates emerged from the testimony, and he has consistently denied any involvement in Epstein’s crimes. The released transcript has nevertheless sparked renewed public discussion about the judgment of high-profile figures who maintained relationships with Epstein after his earlier conviction and about the ways personal information can be used to seek influence or leverage.
