<\/p>\nBilly Ray Cyrus just tied the knot with his partner Firerose. They have been officially dating in 2022 and now have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.<\/p>\n

Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus filed for divorce for the third time and announced the news in April 2022 after 28 years of marriage. Soon after, Billy Ray Cyrus began dating Firerose, an Australian artist. They announced their engagement in November 2022.<\/p>\n

The two of them had met years earlier, when 13 years ago, Firerose had auditioned for a role on Hannah Montana. The country singer recalled the first time he saw Firerose. He said, \u201cThere\u2019s a couple old pine trees on the lot that look like Tennessee. Tex (his dog) and I would go out there in the middle of the day, and he\u2019d take care of his business. And we\u2019d stretch, and I\u2019d think how much I missed Tennessee. On that given day, Firerose came out of the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don\u2019t know, recognition. I was like, \u2018This girl\u2019s a star.\u2019<\/p>\n
He went on, \u201cShe told me she\u2019d had an audition, and I said, \u2018Well, I\u2019m sure you got the job.\u2019\u201d
\nWhile Firerose did not get the part, Cyrus made introductions for her to a couple of producers.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just thought, well, the casting agents, the producers, the writers, they\u2019re all on the floor of where we do Hannah Monatana. And I actually said to her, \u2018Don\u2019t ever take a strange man up on this offer, but, in this case, Tex will testify that you will be totally safe,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018I\u2019m going to introduce you to a producer, and you can kind of make yourself at home and watch us rehearse and, you know, maybe it might lead to a role or just another contact at Disney.\u2019 And, so, off me and her and Tex went back to the studio. And I think she met a lot of the cast and met the producers, writers. And, in some ways, well, in a lot of ways, we became friends,\u201d the crooner shared.<\/p>\n
The couple stayed friends till Cyrus asked Firerose to be more than friends after his divorce early last year. She moved in with Cyrus in August 2022 and shortly after he proposed.<\/p>\n
\u201cBilly looked at me and said, \u2018Do you, do you wanna marry me?\u2019 And I was just like, \u2018Of course I do. I love you,\u2019\u201d Firerose recalled the moment. \u201cHe said, \u2018I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

His wedding to Firerose just comes a couple of months after his ex-wife Tish remarried as well. She married \u201cPrison Break\u201d star Dominic Purcell in August of 2023.<\/p>\n
Tish\u2019s two children from her earlier relationship \u2014 Brandi, 36, and Trace, 34 \u2014 were in attendance and were in photographs with Purcell and two of his four children for the media. Billy Ray had adopted Brandi and Trace while he was married to Tish. The couple had Miley Cyrus, Braison, and Noah together.<\/p>\n
Noah and Braison were noticeably absent from their mother\u2019s wedding. On the day of the wedding, the siblings were together and posted temporary stories on Instagram about their outing to Walmart while Noah was wearing a Billy Ray shirt.<\/p>\n
It is unclear whether any of Cyrus\u2019 children attended his wedding to Firerose.<\/p>\n
As the couple posted pictures from their wedding day on social media, some fans took issue with one detail: Billy Ray Cyrus\u2019 hair!
