A touching tribute at a kindergarten graduation left not a single dry eye in the room.

A 6-year-old boy named Jaxon Carter.<\/p>\n

He stood up and dedicated his speech to his \u201cbeautiful mommy,\u201d a phrase that tugged at everyone\u2019s heartstrings.<\/p>\n

Jaxon\u2019s world was turned upside down when his mother, Taryn Marie Gainey, tragically passed away in an apartment fire last July.
\nAs if coping with such a loss wasn\u2019t challenging enough, Jaxon had to start kindergarten at a new school, New Dawn Academy, just a few weeks later.<\/p>\n

His father, Justin Carter, shared with \u201cGood Morning America\u201d how the school became a beacon of hope for them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to find a school for him last-minute and it just so happened that the school was a great fit for him,\u201d Carter said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe school alone was a lifesaver.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the school year came to a close, Jaxon\u2019s teacher saw something special in him and asked if he\u2019d like to give a speech at the graduation ceremony.
\nLittle did anyone know, this \u201clittle speech\u201d would evolve into a heartfelt valedictory address.<\/p>\n

Preparing for the big day, Jaxon teamed up with his grandmother to craft his speech.
\nHis father was kept in the dark about its contents, making the moment even more poignant.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis teacher asked him if he could give a little speech,\u201d Carter recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe little speech turned into a full valedictory speech.\u201d<\/p>\n

With confidence and grace beyond his years, Jaxon began, \u201cWhen I started kindergarten at New Dawn Academy in August 2022, I was a little 5-year-old who had lost my beautiful mother a month before.\u201d<\/p>\n

He paused, taking a moment to gather himself before continuing.<\/p>\n

He spoke of the lessons he learned, both academic and personal, saying, \u201cMy kindergarten year helped me grow braver, smarter, kind-hearted, and more grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jaxon\u2019s gratitude extended to his teacher, whom he described as having a \u201cbig heart.\u201d
\nHe fondly remembered her comforting words, \u201cWhen I was sad, she used to tell me it would be all right.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also expressed his love and appreciation for his grandparents and his father, declaring, \u201cYou are the best daddy ever, and I love you so very much.\u201d<\/p>\n

The climax of his speech was a touching dedication. \u201cI dedicate my speech, good grades, all school awards, and my kindergarten graduation to my beautiful mommy, who I will always love and miss so very much,\u201d Jaxon said.
\n\u201cI know she will always be with me in my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Justin Carter was overwhelmed with emotion, saying he was \u201cshocked and speechless\u201d watching his son\u2019s moving tribute.
\n\u201cThe expressions, the words, everything that he was saying, you could see that he meant every word of it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
