Another instance of this is a father who decided to give his daughter an old, used car as a gift. He had even thought to send her to find out how much the car was worth.<\/p>\n
The father of a student told his daughter, \u201cYou finished with honors, so here\u2019s a car I bought back then.\u201d Take it to the center\u2019s used parking lot, act as like you were about to sell it, and see how much the car is worth, he said.<\/p>\n

The daughter came back from the used parking lot to her father and said, \u201cThey gave me $1,000 because it looked so worn.\u201d<\/p>\n
The girl told her father that she had been to a pawn shop and that \u201cthe pawnshop offered $ 100 because it\u2019s a really old car.\u201d<\/p>\n
The father persuaded his daughter to go to an auto club so they could show off the car.<\/p>\n
After being stunned by the last offer, the girl went back home and told her father everything. The father then gave her the instruction he wanted to teach all along:<\/p>\n
Because it was a Nissan Skyline R34, an iconic and much desired vehicle, several clubgoers made an offer of $100,000 for it when the daughter drove the car to the establishment.<\/p>\n
The father concluded, \u201cI wanted you to know that the right place values you in the right way. If you are not appreciated, don\u2019t get upset; it just means you\u2019re not where you should be.
