It was my day off, and after a minor argument with my husband that morning, he left for work\u2014or so he said. Not wanting to sit around stewing, I<\/p>\n
called my best friend, and we decided to spend the afternoon at the pool near her apartment. The weather was perfect, and we were all smiles, ready to<\/p>\n
relax and enjoy some pizza.<\/p>\n
But as I got comfortable on my lounge chair, I saw him\u2014my husband\u2014just across the pool, lounging beside a young blonde, their fingers intertwined.<\/p>\n
I froze. He looked completely at ease, sipping a drink and laughing, as if he hadn\u2019t lied to me just a few hours earlier. My blood boiled, and I was ready<\/p>\n
to storm over and confront him.<\/p>\n
Before I could move, though, karma stepped in. A furious young man appeared out of nowhere, marching straight toward them. Turns out the blonde<\/p>\n
wasn\u2019t just a \u201cfriend\u201d\u2014she was someone else\u2019s girlfriend too. The guy shoved my husband and shouted loud enough for everyone at the pool to turn<\/p>\n
and stare. The drama exploded, right there in the sun.<\/p>\n
I didn\u2019t have to lift a finger. Karma handled it better than I ever could have. Later, my husband tried to explain it all away, but I was done. I walked<\/p>\n
