I\u2019m Bob, a construction foreman working on a tough project halfway up a steep hill. Because there\u2019s no road access, we rely on just two clearly marked no-parking spots at the bottom of the hill to keep deliveries running smoothly. One morning, a woman pulled up and parked her SUV right in one of those spots, completely ignoring the signs.<\/p>\n

When I politely asked her to move so the lumber delivery could get through, she didn\u2019t care. She told me to \u201cdeal with it\u201d and acted like the rules didn\u2019t apply to her.<\/p>\n

Minutes later, the delivery truck arrived, loaded with materials we needed. I asked her again to move, but she refused and said we could just unload around her.<\/p>\n

So, we did exactly that\u2014but in a way she wouldn\u2019t like. The truck driver carefully parked the big delivery truck so close to her SUV that she was boxed in and couldn\u2019t open her driver\u2019s door.<\/p>\n

She was trapped between the truck and a porta-potty nearby. Realizing she couldn\u2019t get out normally, she awkwardly climbed out the passenger side and started yelling at us to move the truck.<\/p>\n

I explained that for safety reasons, we couldn\u2019t move the truck while the load was unsecured. She got angry, threatened to report us, and refused to cooperate.Then parking enforcement showed up just as she tried to back out. In her frustration, she smashed into the porta-potty and got stuck on the curb.<\/p>\n

The police arrived, and because she was driving recklessly with her child in the car, she was arrested.Her son was picked up by his grandmother, and we finished unloading without any more problems.<\/p>\n

That day, karma made sure she learned a costly lesson about entitlement\u2014and our parking spots stayed clear for good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
