The move comes after the Senate voted 51-44 to overturn California\u2019s gas car phase-out plan, approved under the Biden administration. President Trump is expected to sign the resolution. \u201cThis federal overreach is politically motivated and endangers Californians,\u201d Bonta said. California\u2019s 2035 gas vehicle ban, backed by 11 other states, has faced strong Republican opposition.
