a Hiram High School graduate, passed away just weeks after collapsing at her graduation<\/p>\n
ceremony on May 23.Despite struggling with severe cardiomyopathy and a recent heart<\/p>\n
failure diagnosis, Stewart was able to walk across the stage to receive her diploma,<\/p>\n
a moment her family will forever cherish.On the day of her graduation, Sienna suddenly<\/p>\n
collapsed losing consciousness. Paramedics arrived at no time, and once the teen regained<\/p>\n
consciousness, she tearfully insisted on completing her walk across the stage.Sienna,<\/p>\n
who had received a heart transplant ten years ago, had lived with severe cardiomyopathy<\/p>\n
since the age of 4 and began \u201cgetting sick\u201d earlier this year. Following her transplant,<\/p>\n
she had live a rather normal life for ten years, but it was recently that she had started<\/p>\n
\u201cgetting weak and slowing down.\u201dSienna\u2019s mom, Saevon Chum, revealed that her daughter would<\/p>\n
sometimes experience episodes where she collapsed, and one of those happened on her graduation.<\/p>\n
At the moment Sienna falls, the high-school principal could be heard saying,<\/p>\n
\u201cJust give us a second please, we have a student, just give us a second\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
When I got there, the ambulance was already there,\u201d the mom told Fox5Atlanta.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe had collapsed. She had had another episode. But this was the first time<\/p>\n
she collapsed unconscious.\u201dOnce she had regained her consciousness, Sienna<\/p>\n
insisted on walking the stage instead of going to the hospital and begged her<\/p>\n
mom to let her do it. She was the last student to receive her diploma that day,<\/p>\n
