It would be beneficial for her to spend time with the grandchildren and feel the love and support of family.<\/p>\n
My spouse just walked in, clearly influenced by the \u201cHow to Be a Loving Family Man\u201d course. At first, he firmly refused, but with some skillful negotiation on my end, he reluctantly agreed\u2014on one condition. Brace yourself: my upset mother would have to cover the rent.<\/p>\n
You read that right. Pay rent. in a house we own, not one we\u2019re renting. Get ready to cry or laugh. His reasoning? He smirked with a grin I can only describe as sinister, saying, \u201cYour mother is a parasite.\u201d \u201cOnce she moves in with us, she\u2019ll never leave.\u201d
\nHis logic persisted, like a runaway train hurtling towards a cliff. It makes no sense for her to take advantage of our resources without contributing. This is not a hotel, and she needs to understand that!<\/p>\n
