has failed to inspire the same sort of positivity.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, August 29, Stewart uploaded a photo of herself from a cruise that<\/p>\n
saw her take in the east coast of Greenland. The picture \u2013 one of several \u2013 shows the businesswoman<\/p>\n
and TV personality enjoying a cocktail, along with the caption:<\/p>\n
\u201cEnd of the first zodiac cruise from @swanhelleniccruises into a very beautiful fjord on the east coast<\/p>\n
of greenland. We actually captured a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n
Harmless though Stewart almost certainly intended her post to be,<\/p>\n
it soon evoked the ire of followers who believed her using of the \u201csmall iceberg\u201d for her drink was in bad taste.<\/p>\n
Before long, Stewart\u2019s comments field was filled with people hitting out at the fact that she\u2019d referenced a small iceberg when the \u201cice caps are melting\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cMartha the ice caps are melting don\u2019t put them in your drink,\u201d one Instagram user wrote.<\/p>\n
Another added: \u201cI generally love Martha and the excesses of her life because he\u2019s about beautiful gardens, homes, and food, but wealthy white people drinking their iceberg cocktails while the planet is in flames is a bit tone deaf.\u201c<\/p>\n
\u201cSo as the climate warms due to the profits of a couple thousand people, billionaires vacation to the melting icebergs, scoop them up and use them to keep their cocktails cold. That sounds like a line from a dystopian novel. Can\u2019t make this shit up lol,\u201d a third quipped.<\/p>\n
\u201cGlobal warming and melting ice caps but we need glacier ice for cocktails?! Talk about tone def. Been a fan for years but I\u2019ve seen enough caviar lately as I struggle to buy groceries that I\u2019m out,\u201d said a fourth.<\/p>\n
Back in May, Stewart made history as she confidently posed in daring swimsuits for cover of Sports Illustrated. The then-81-year-old also spilled the rigorous wellness routine she implemented beforehand.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t starve myself, but I didn\u2019t eat any bread or pasta for a couple of months,\u201d Stewart mentioned during an appearance on the Today show.<\/p>\n
\u201cI went to Pilates every other day, and that was great; I\u2019m still going to Pilates every other day \u2019cause it\u2019s so great. And I just, I live a clean life anyway \u2013 good diet and good exercise and healthy skincare and all of that stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
During her keynote speech at the Las Vegas event, Stewart shared how fans responded to the \u201cauthentic\u201d cover.<\/p>\n
