Hi everyone, Hannah here. This is a difficult story to share, but I feel like I need to. I\u2019m a 38-year-old mom of two amazing kids (seven and five), and I\u2019ve been married to my husband, Luke, for nearly a decade. We\u2019ve had our share of challenges, like any couple. But something that happened on our recent trip to Mexico really shocked me more than anything else we\u2019ve been through.<\/p>\n
Now, imagine this: we\u2019re in Mexico, surrounded by stunning beaches and gorgeous weather. I was so excited about this trip. I had planned everything meticulously because, let\u2019s face it, as a mom, I rarely get a break.<\/p>\n
This was supposed to be our time to reconnect, relax, and just enjoy each other\u2019s company. But right from the start, Luke was acting weird. Every time I asked him to take a photo of me or with me, he\u2019d brush it off.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not in the mood,\u201d he\u2019d say, or \u201cCan we do it later?\u201d At first, I didn\u2019t think much of it. Maybe he was just tired from the travel, right? But then it kept happening.<\/p>\n
We were on this beautiful beach, and I was wearing this new dress I bought just for the trip. I felt good about myself, which is rare these days after two kids and all. I asked Luke, \u201cCan you take a picture of me with the sunset?\u201d<\/p>\n
He sighed and muttered, \u201cNot now, Hannah.\u201d<\/p>\n
I frowned, feeling a bit hurt. \u201cWhy not? It\u2019ll just take a second.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI said I\u2019m not in the mood,\u201d he snapped, turning away.<\/p>\n
That stung. I mean, we\u2019re on vacation, and he can\u2019t take a moment to snap a photo? I felt embarrassed and confused.<\/p>\n
