Cher’s secrets to staying healthy and strong at the age of 77

It isn’t easy to believe, but Cher is 77 years old. The Goddess of Pop, born in California on May 20, 1946, soared to fame following the 1965 Sonny & Cher smash “I Got You, Babe.”

She has starred in her television show, sold over 100 million records, won numerous accolades, acted on Broadway, and toured solo worldwide during her 50-year career. She is unquestionably one of the world’s most successful entertainers.

But how she did it all while showing no signs of slowing down is a mystery to many of us…

For as long as cameras have existed, people who make a profession in front of them have worked hard to adapt, develop, and even experiment with their faces to defy the aging process.

We could write an endless article about all the Hollywood and music industry stars who have waged war on Mother Nature’s designs; the futility of their pioneering efforts; the falsehoods used to cover up treatments; the weird diets; and the horror stories born of plastic surgery gone too far.

Cher stands out among all the celebrities who have been in the spotlight long enough for the public to see their transformation from young to old.

Cher, 77, has had a unique existence, having achieved success as both a global music artist and an actress. She’s been married twice and has had connections with several celebrities.

Cher, known for dancing on stage in sky-high heels while dressed in clothes that leave little to the imagination, attributes her body to a routine that includes going to the gym, eating a plant-based and dairy-free diet, avoiding alcohol, and caring for her skin.

“I exercise about five times a week because it’s something I’ve always done, and I just enjoy it,” she explained to Hello! Magazine.

Despite admitting that she has to work twice as hard as others, she is devoted to keeping a thinner shape and doesn’t mind the extra labor.

“I was a tomboy when I was younger.” I participated in athletics. And I’m currently learning to surf. Thank God, I like that kind of stuff.”

Cher also said that she doesn’t eat meat, and she said in her book Cher Forever Fit: The Lifetime Plan for Health, Fitness, and Beauty she tries to avoid foods with high fat content. She also allegedly does not eat cheese.

Cher is anti-alcohol, anti-drug, and anti-smoking.

“There are things I don’t like that are unhealthy, like drugs and drinking, so I never got into them, to begin with,” she said in 2013, adding: “I never got into them begin with.”

“I used to smoke cigarettes and would have done drugs if I liked them, but they disagreed.” I’ll drink only three or four times a year as well.”

Cher does not have a favorite product for her skincare routine.

“My skincare regimen is somewhat varied. “I don’t stick to one product; I just have things I like from different people,” she told individuals, adding:

“Dr. Barbara Sturm is a friend of mine, and she makes an eye cream and face wash that I adore.” Jan Marini items are also among my favorites. I also use Proactiv products, which I enjoy.”

The music legend maintains her youth by spending time with her partner, music producer Alexander Edwards, 36.

Cher claimed last year that she’d previously introduced Edwards to the rest of her family, adding, “Love doesn’t know math!” Her remark responded to those questioning the two new lovebirds’ big age difference (Cher is 77, while her lover is 36).

Cher and Edwards met during Paris Fashion Week in 2022, according to Cher. We’re not claiming to be mathematical geniuses, but their relationship is still in honeymoon mode.

Nonetheless, many admirers expressed their happiness at seeing Cher so happy. The 77-year-old also directly addressed the couple’s age disparity, saying, “Love doesn’t know math; it sees [red heart emojis].” Rinpoche informed me, “Some people meet, others recognize.”

It’s hard to realize Cher is now 77 years old. Not only because I recall her first appearance on the scene as a fresh-faced talent with the world at her feet but also because, well, she still looks simply fantastic.
