It was the early morning hours on April 20, 2023, when Christina Ashten Gourkani went in for another round of plastic surgery. The 34-year-old model, who looks like Kim Kardashian, went under anesthesia and then suffered cardiac arrest dying in the California hospital where she was located.

Christina Ashten Gourkani, who went by Ashten G online, had posted to Instagram and her thousands of followers just days before her death during a botched cosmetic procedure, and her final words will chill you to your bones.

The social media influencer and star posted a simple message on a Tuesday in April 2023. Her note to her Instagram followers was “Happy Tuesday. 1,2,3,” and this post has since become a memorial for Christina Ashten Gourkani since she passed away from cardiac arrest while under the knife at a plastic surgery clinic in California.

The details of her death were outlined by her surviving family members on a GoFundMe account page.

“In the early morning hours at approximately 4:31 am on 4/20/2023, our family received a tragic phone call from a family member who was frantically screaming and crying hysterically on the other end of the line… Ashten is dying… Ashten is dying… A phone call that instantly shattered our world and will forever haunt our family for the rest of our lives. After arriving at the hospital shortly after the phone call, our family continued living a nightmare as we were informed that her health and wellbeing had continued to decline in a downward spiral for the worse after suffering from a cardiac arrest.”

Now, the social media star’s family is raising money on GoFundMe to cover the cost of the 34-year-old model’s funeral. The family has also announced an investigation into the circumstances of Gourkani’s death at the hands of the plastic surgery clinic.

The family stated, “Her sudden and tragic passing is currently being investigated as a homicide related to a medical procedure that took a turn for the worse. For the privacy of Christina Ashten, our family, and the investigation, no other details will be shared at this time.”

On GoFundMe, the family wrote: “It is with deep sorrow and an immensely heavy broken heart that we have to share the most shattering, unfortunate and unexpected passing of our beautiful beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani.”
