Easy No-Bake Crunch Bars for a Quick Homemade Treat

These homemade crunch bars are a simple, no-bake treat that capture the nostalgic flavor of classic chocolate candy bars. With just a few pantry staples—crispy rice cereal, melted chocolate, peanut butter, maple syrup, and a bit of coconut oil—you get a sweet, crunchy snack that comes together effortlessly. Because the recipe requires no oven time, it’s ideal for warm days, busy schedules, or any moment when you want something satisfying without extra fuss.

To get started, line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside. Pour three cups of crispy rice cereal into a large mixing bowl. In a separate microwave-safe bowl or small saucepan, combine your chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Warm the mixture gently until everything melts together, then whisk until smooth and glossy.

Once the chocolate mixture is ready, pour it over the cereal and fold gently until all the pieces are evenly coated. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press it down lightly to create a uniform layer. Refrigerate for at least an hour, or until the bars have firmed up enough to slice cleanly.

When set, lift the slab from the pan using the parchment paper and cut it into bars. They keep well in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks, staying crisp and flavorful. For longer storage, wrap individual bars in parchment and freeze them—perfect for grabbing a quick, homemade treat whenever the craving strikes.
