Actress Best Known For Her Role On M*A*S*H passes away at 84

On April 2, 2023, Judy Farrell sadly passed away at the age of 84. Her son, Michael Farrell, revealed that she had suffered a stroke nine days before her passing. Although she was unable to speak, she remained conscious and found solace in squeezing the hands of her loved ones who surrounded her till the very end.

Judy Farrell’s personal life was also intertwined with the entertainment world. She was previously married to Mike Farrell, who played Captain B.J. Hunnicutt in “M*A*S*H.” Although their marriage ended in 1983, she found love again and tied the knot with her second husband, Joe Bratcher, in 1985.

A Beautiful Soul Remembered

Loretta Swit, who portrayed Maj. Margaret ‘Hot Lips’ Houlihan alongside Farrell on “M*A*S*H,” spoke fondly of her co-star. She shared, “Judy was a most beautiful woman – inside and out. We grew up together. She was family. This has been a painful loss, but we will always have the beauty of her memory. Rest in peace, Nurse Able.”
