Charlie Kirk’s Last Words Before Utah Tragedy

Conservative activist Charlie Kirk shared a haunting final post just minutes before being shot at a campus event in Utah. Former President Donald Trump announced Kirk’s death on his Truth Social platform, calling him “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk.” Trump praised Kirk for understanding “the Heart of the Youth in the United States” and offered condolences to his wife Erika and family.

The attack occurred on Wednesday, September 10, during an event at Utah Valley University, where Kirk was addressing thousands of students. Footage posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows Kirk speaking when a loud bang is heard. He appears to be struck in the neck, shuts his eyes, and collapses backward as blood becomes visible.

Just minutes before the shooting, Kirk posted online about the death of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, who was fatally stabbed on a North Carolina train last month. Kirk urged his followers to “politicize the senseless murder” of Zarutska, arguing that political failures allowed her attacker, who had 14 prior offenses, to remain free.

Kirk’s final words are now being widely shared by supporters, who see them as a powerful message about justice and public safety. The U.S. Department of Justice has launched a full investigation into the incident, calling it a “senseless act of violence.” Authorities have not released details about the suspect or motive but are urging witnesses to come forward. Tributes have flooded social media, with many vowing to continue Kirk’s work and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
