Karoline Leavitt Celebrates Niko’s First Birthday

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made sure her baby boy’s first birthday was one to remember. The celebration was filled with love, laughter, and a playful construction theme that reflected little Niko’s fascination with trucks. Leavitt, 27, and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, marked the milestone for their son, Nicholas “Niko” Robert Riccio, with a backyard party surrounded by family and friends.

Sharing photos on Instagram, Leavitt wrote: “Today my sweet, happy, sensitive, funny, and handsome baby turned one. There are no words to describe how much I love this little boy. I thank God every day for making me his mommy.” The party was decorated with banners featuring Niko’s face, a cake topped with miniature diggers, and personalized yellow cups with his name.

The highlight, however, was a real digger brought into the yard, delighting the birthday boy and guests alike. Karoline and Nicholas wore matching “Mama” and “Dada” T-shirts as they watched Niko happily smash into his cake, his face covered in frosting. The heartfelt details made the occasion even more memorable.

Fans quickly filled the comments section with kind words, calling the party “precious” and praising the couple for making their son’s day so special. Though her role in Washington keeps her busy, Karoline’s post was a reminder of where her heart truly lies: with faith, family, and celebrating the joy of her little boy’s first year.
