Beloved ‘Little House On The Prairie’ Star Passed Away At 91

Jack Lilley, a cherished Little House on the Prairie alum and legendary stuntman, has passed away

at the age of 91. His death was confirmed by former co-star Melissa Gilbert, who shared a heartfelt tribute on March 21.

“The Little House family has lost one of our own,” Gilbert wrote. “Jack Lilley has passed away. He was 91 years old and

one of my favorite people on the planet. He taught me how to ride a horse when I was just a wee little thing.

He was endlessly patient and never said no when I begged, ‘Can we go ride? Please, please, please?’”

Lilley’s career spanned decades of Hollywood westerns. On Little House on the Prairie, he often served as Victor French’s

photo double while also taking on multiple on-screen roles. Beyond the series, his stunt work and performances

contributed to classics like Blazing Saddles, showcasing his skill, versatility, and dedication to the craft.

Loved by colleagues for his kindness and professionalism, Jack Lilley left an indelible mark on both television and film.

His legacy remains not only in the productions he helped bring to life but also in the memories of those he inspired and mentored.
