Wrestling Icon Hulk Hogan Dies at 71

The wrestling world is grieving the death of Hulk Hogan, who passed away at 71 from cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home on July 24, 2025.

A towering figure in professional wrestling, Hogan helped bring the WWE into mainstream pop culture, becoming one of its most recognizable and enduring icons.

Emergency crews responded early Thursday morning to reports of a medical emergency. Hogan’s death comes just two months after undergoing neck fusion surgery

in May. Despite a long history of injuries and over 25 surgeries, including multiple joint replacements, Hogan had recently assured fans he was recovering well.

Health concerns had followed him for months, with rumors circulating in June that his condition was critical.

These claims were denied by his representatives and wife, Sky Daily Hogan, who said he was doing fine after treatments.

Outside the ring, Hogan left a legacy in entertainment, starring in Thunder in Paradise, helping launch

the NWO faction in WCW, and appearing in the reality show Hogan Knows Best.

Known for his charisma, signature catchphrases, and dedication to fans, Hogan was more than a wrestler—he was a pop culture legend.

The WWE community and fans worldwide now say goodbye to the man who told them to “say their prayers and eat their vitamins.”
