Viral Concert Clip Sparks Alleged Affair Rumors Around Astronomer CEO Andy Byron

Coldplay “Kiss Cam” Sparks Speculation About Astronomer Execs, A viral video from Coldplay’s Boston concert has fueled speculation about a possible workplace romance between Astronomer CEO

Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot. During the concert’s “Kiss Cam” moment, the pair appeared visibly uneasy—Byron ducked while Cabot turned away. Frontman Chris Martin’s joking remark about them “having an affair” only added to the buzz.

Online sleuths quickly identified the executives, prompting renewed interest in their professional ties. A 2023 press release in

which Byron praised Cabot’s leadership is now circulating again. While Cabot finalized a divorce in 2022,

Byron is reportedly still married. His wife has since deactivated her social media after a flurry of public comments.

The situation has also revived scrutiny of Byron’s leadership history. A 2018 article about his time at cybersecurity firm Cybereason

included claims from former employees describing a high-pressure work culture. Byron denied any misconduct

but was noted for rehiring staff from prior roles, which raised internal concerns.

Neither Byron nor Cabot has issued a statement. The incident has sparked renewed debate over workplace boundaries,

leadership conduct, and how social media can escalate private matters into public controversies.
