New details have been revealed about some of the young girls who remain missing after devastating floods hit Texas this week.

At least 24 people have died in Kerr County, and one person has died in Kendall County,

after the catastrophic floods hit central Texas on Friday, July 4, CNN reported. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said in a press conference that 23 girls

remain unaccounted for out of 750 from Camp Mystic, a Christian girls-only summer camp near the Guadalupe River, per Dallas outlet WFAA.

(Floods in the river caused it to reach its second-highest height ever, according to ABC affiliate Eyewitness News.)
