That Blue Line on the Street Isn’t Random

A new road marking, featuring a thin blue line between yellow center lines, is being introduced in some U.S. areas, including

parts of Maryland and Ocean City. This blue line honors police officers who serve and protect their communities. In Ocean City,

the blue line has been added on 65th Street, leading directly to the police department.

Mayor Rick Sheehan voiced support, noting how vital officers are in maintaining peace, especially between retirees and rowdy teenagers.
