Suri Cruise, The Daughter Of Katie And Tom Cruise Silently Changed Her Name

According to reports, the younger Cruise marked her transition into

adulthood with a subtle, yet significant change to her easily recognizable name.

Hello Magazine reports that the teen debuted her new name in the

Playbill for her high school’s production of Head Over Heels.

Suri, who played the role of Philoclea, was listed not by her birth

name but as Suri Noelle, adopting her mother Katie Holmes’ middle name.

Suri’s estranged relationship with Tom Cruise is no secret.

Katie has been responsible for the majority of Suri’s upbringing as the

teen and her father have no relationship and have not seen each other since 2012, shortly after he and Katie split.

Over the years, Katie has taken every precaution to protect Suri from

the public eye “because she was so visible at a young age.”

As a result, Katie and her daughter share an extremely close bond.

“I love her so much. My biggest goal has always been to nurture her into her individuality. To make sure she is 100 per cent herself and strong, confident, and able. And to know it,” Katie told InStyle in 2022.
