Signs On Your Face and Head That Could Indicate Heart Trouble

These deposits, made of cholesterol, may point to dyslipidemia,

a condition that raises the likelihood of artery blockages, heart attacks,

and strokes. Persistent facial puffiness, especially around the eyes, can signal

heart problems, as fluid retention (edema) occurs when the heart struggles to pump effectively.

This swelling may also appear in the legs and ankles. Male-pattern baldness, particularly at

the crown, is linked to a higher risk of heart disease, especially in men with high cholesterol

or blood pressure. Hormonal imbalances, such as elevated testosterone, may play a role.

A diagonal crease on the earlobe (“Frank’s sign”) is another subtle warning

of coronary artery disease, with studies finding strong connections to heart health issues
