College student Marcus, 19, returned home from his part-time job, only
to be told by his stepmother, Karen, to move out in three days to prepare
for a new baby. Exhausted and frustrated, Marcus protested, but Karen insisted,
“I want to prepare the house for the baby, do some renovations, and you’ll
just be in the way.” His father, Tom, initially sided with Karen, leaving Marcus feeling betrayed.
With no place to go, Marcus remembered his Aunt Rose and called her for help.
Rose immediately flew to support him. “Do nothing. I’ll be there soon,” she assured him, giving Marcus a glimmer of hope.
When Rose arrived, she confronted Karen and Tom, revealing that the house legally
belonged to Marcus, thanks to his late grandmother’s will. “You have no right to
kick Marcus out of this house because it’s his house,” Rose declared, stunning everyone.
Amidst the chaos, Karen’s deceit about the pregnancy was exposed by Rose, who had
seen her drinking wine. “There is no baby!” Karen admitted. Tom, shocked and hurt,
ordered Karen to leave. “No. Right now, you’re going to pack your things and leave,”
he said. Finally, Tom apologized to Marcus, promising, “From now on, I will always put you first,” as they reconciled.
