Ethan stepped back, clearly showing his irritation. “Mom, I already mentioned that you can’t just show up here without letting me know first.” I’m tied up right now, and Isabella is waiting for her guests.

“Impose?” Mom, there’s so much happening right now. “I need to focus on my family right now,” Ethan snapped, his irritation evident.
