A​ bride stunned her wedding guests when she⁣ read‌ texts about her fiancé’s

affair instead of her vows ‍during the ceremony. Your wedding day is supposed to be the best day ever.

A bride named Casey (not her real ​name) tells this shocking story‌ in ​an essay for Body+Soul.

In it, she explains how Alex (also a fake name), her fiancé, was cheating on her in

the weeks before their wedding. Even⁤ more surprising, Casey didn’t ‍learn about his

affair from him; it was actually the ‍other woman who contacted her with ‌steamy screenshots of their chats.

“This weekend. You and I. It is​ on hot stuff! Bring⁤ your A‍ game,” one spicy message says.

“Your body ‍is f***ing amazing and do you know how to use it? I ⁤wish my GF had half

your ⁢skills,” another reads. A third one ‍states: ⁤“I miss you ⁣so much! I can’t stop thinking about L, S, F’ing you.”

Along with these heartbreaking messages, the mistress⁤ sent a strong note: “I wouldn’t

marry him!⁤ Will ‍you?” Casey felt shocked and humiliated by what she saw. ​She recalls:

“My friends were threatening all kinds of violence against him! They⁢ insisted I call

him right away and ⁤cancel everything.”⁢ But despite everything, Casey loved Alex

and wanted to marry him that very day; she was too hurt to feel angry.

Then came up‌ with a plan for revenge:​ “When morning finally came I woke ‍my friends

up and told them my ⁢choice – I would go through with the wedding as planned but expose

him in front of everyone,”‌ she shares. So on‌ their ⁣big day, Casey stood up‌ and revealed

Alex’s secret to everyone present: “It seems ‍Alex isn’t​ who I thought he was,” she announced to those gathered around them.
