We Adopted a 3-Year-Old Boy – When My Husband Went to Bathe Him for the First Time, He Shouted, ‘We Must Return Him!’

After years of infertility, my husband Mark and I finally decided to adopt.

We were overjoyed to welcome Sam, a sweet three-year-old with ocean-blue eyes,

into our home. However, everything changed during his first bath. Mark burst

out of the bathroom, pale and shaking, declaring we needed

to return him. Confused, I learned that Mark felt unable to bond with Sam.

As I comforted Sam, I noticed a birthmark on his foot that matched Mark’s.

When I confronted Mark, he confessed that Sam was his biological son from

a brief affair four years ago. I felt shattered by the betrayal

and couldn’t understand how he could think of abandoning his own child.

The next day, DNA tests confirmed Sam was indeed Mark’s son.

I filed for divorce, seeking full custody. Over the months,

Sam and I formed a loving routine, and he flourished as my son.

Despite the pain, I have no regrets about bringing Sam into my life.

He is my everything, and our love transcends any secrets of the past.
