Amal Clooney Was Labeled ‘Ugly’ & Blasted for Skinny Legs — Lovestruck George Says She’s ‘Magical’ after 8 Years

Award-winning actor George Clooney became one of the world’s most famous bachelors following the end of his first marriage to actress Talia Balsam.

After becoming a single man again, he revealed to broadcaster Barbara Walters during an interview in 1995 that he would never marry again since his first union “failed.”

George and Balsam got hitched in 1989 and divorced in 1993 after four years of marriage. Back in the day, the Hollywood hunk kept his love life under wraps and continuously rubbished rumors linking him to Croatian model Monika Jaksic and actress Katie Holmes.

Many of his co-stars had settled down at the time, and he chose not to. Despite vowing not to get married again, things changed when the two-time Academy Award winner met his now-wife, Amal Clooney.
