Susan Sarandon’s Daughter, 39, Weds in ‘French Garden’ Ceremony, Wearing Corset Gown That Sparks Heated Reaction: Photos

Eva Amurri, daughter of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri, married Ian Hock in a beautiful garden-themed ceremony in Hudson Valley on June 29. Eva, 39, wore a glamorous corset wedding gown but faced criticism online, with some calling it “inappropriate” and “tasteless.” Despite this, she shared her excitement on Instagram, describing it as “Officially #TheBestDayEva.”

The intimate ceremony featured 40 guests, including her children, Marlowe Mae, Major James, and Mateo Antoni Martino, who played special roles. Major walked Eva down the aisle, a moment she described as “an experience I’ll never forget.” The couple also incorporated a “ring blessing” where guests passed their wedding rings around to “put good energy into them.”

Eva and Ian focused on creating a personal and family-centered day, saying, “We really wanted to center our little family unit in all of it.” The French garden party-inspired event featured a curated menu by Grounded Catering, with Hudson Valley duck, cedar plank salmon, and a selection of local cheeses and charcuterie.

For the reception, Eva changed into a second Kim Kassas dress with feather trim and sparkles, paired with custom Nike Air Force Ones. The couple shared their first dance to Taylor Swift’s “Lover” and a family dance to “Joy” by Andy Grammer, highlighting their close bond.
