Bruce Willis Holds On Tightly To His Daughter’s Hand As He Spends Thanksgiving With His Family

Bruce Willis was spending Thanksgiving with his complete family on Thursday, and he was holding fast to his daughter Scout Willis’s hand.

For the 68-year-old actor’s admirers, it was a moving occasion following his retirement from Hollywood and his family’s announcement in March of last year that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

It’s a rare kind of dementia that deteriorates language, behavior, and personality. The 32-year-old Scout shared a video of her dad and her on Instagram Stories with the remark, “my guy.”

In the video, Scout extends a hand to Bruce, who gives it a fleeting glance before slipping his hand up, eliciting a broad smile from Scout.

Then, on the same day, Scout shared a picture of herself in which she was tenderly and sweetly putting her head on Bruce’s hand.

Bruce chose to wear a grey cap and a long-sleeved sports shirt, while she donned a white, puff-sleeved flowery blouse.

Bruce is also the father of four other daughters: Rumer, 35, and Tallulah, 29, with his first wife Demi Moore; Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9, whom he shared with Emma.

Following Bruce’s dementia diagnosis, both of his wives and all of his children have come together. Emma’s flashback photo included them all with him, as did Rumer’s fiancé, Derek Richard Thomas and Scout’s boyfriend Jake Miller.

Louetta, Rumer and Derek’s daughter, was born in April, and it appears that Rumer was still pregnant at the time the photo was taken. ‘I’m grateful and thankful to know this kind of love,’ Emma captioned a photo of herself with several hearts.

‘Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving.’ Three days prior, Rumer had sweetly shared an old photo of herself with Bruce as a little child, captioning it, “Really missing my papa today.”

Her article was made approximately one month following the devastating news of Bruce’s dementia decline from an old friend. The man who wrote the hit 1980s sitcom Moonlighting with Bruce, Glenn Gordon Caron, talked about his visits with the star when he was ailing.
